Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Community Meetup Hub you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your login credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate profile information.

2. Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate speech, spam, or illegal content.
• No scraping or bulk collection of member data.
• No impersonation of other people, sellers, or brands.
• Do not share private meetup venue addresses outside of approved attendees.

3. Hosting meetups

Hosts are solely responsible for their events — venue, safety, refunds, and compliance with local law. Community Meetup Hub is a listing and coordination tool only and is not a party to any meetup.

4. Payments

Ticket payments are made peer-to-peer via PayPal from the attendee to the host. We do not process, hold, or refund payments. Refund and cancellation policy is set by the host.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of anything you post (meetup descriptions, cover photos, answers). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it as part of the service.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms or put other members at risk.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or attendance at any meetup.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the data controller's place of business.
